Whilst I were in a party last weekend, I come across a man who was sharing with me regarding his previous trip to Sri Lanka. The person imparted stories concerning the wonderful long sandy beaches, the sunshine which glittered on the ocean and also the smell of fish currently being cooked over open fires. The guy followed to speak about the local folks that are very poor by western standards though will give the shoes that they walk upon - the devastation from the tsunami still visible in a lot of parts as well as stories he had acquired through some of those people who had lost a lot.
