Bipolar disease, otherwise known as Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder. The actual definition of bipolar disease is that a person has one or more episodes of abnormally elevated or manic moods, followed by depressive episodes or symptoms. Often, Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder that causes a person to experience these shifts in moods very quickly, going from one to the other in a short amount of time. Sometimes, a person will have mixed episodes, in which they are both manic and depressed at the same time.
