Setting Goals That Make You Want to Achieve Them
The goal you set must come from your deepest desire. You want it so badly, you must achieve it.
The biggest mistake people make in goal setting is setting ambiguous goals like”I want to earn a lot of money”, “I want to go on a holiday” or “I want to be rich”.
When people set these kind of goals for your MLM/ Network Marketing business, they are only setting to please others, or to show off.
When you join a MLM/ Network Marketing company, you should never work like you are an employee, and don’t treat your upline as your boss.
You do not have to report to anybody in MLM/ Network Marketing. You are your boss. You control your life, and how you want to do the business.
Find out what are the things that have importance to you and can motivate you. And set specific goals that achieve it.
A good example of specific goals are; “I want to be able to bring my family to Japan by December”, “I want to earn $15000 to down pay for a new Nissan Fair lady in 5 months”
It is important to set your goal as detailed and specific as possible. So you know exactly what you want. These goals should be close to your heart and personal. And it should be important that you achieve it, so you will not give up easily.
You should add a time factor to your goals so you know what kind of action you need to take in order to achieve the goals.
If your boss didn’t set you a dateline for the report he asked you to do, would you have felt the urgency to complete it or would you take your own sweet time? You need to focus on today and force yourself to work towards a dateline.
Lastly to make yourself more determined and focus to achieve your goal is to make them into a promise. Tell your loved ones that you promise to achieve the goal. And you see yourself having no alternative but to work hard to fulfill the promise.
