Yes, it is not always feasible to ignore those pangs of hunger when they decide to attack, and at the oddest of places too.

So let us make common sense work for us. Again taking it one-step at a time. The first thing you have to remember is you did not put all your extra pounds on over night. From now on for whatever bad food you eat get yourself a helping of a dish of good food. Try to eat a portion of your healthy food before you eat the junk food. Let u say that you like to eat apples and you have a chocolate just waiting to be consumed, first eat your apple then the piece of cake. It will further help eat half the serving of cake. You should continue this practice steadily increasing the quantity of healthy food in you daily diet. Now, don’t expect to make progress in your weight loss program just yet, this is just changing your eating habits.

Perseverance: If a person has perseverance as a quality that person can take to any weight loss program with ease. Perseverance is a quality that very few obese people have. It takes a lot of practice to decide to keep away from certain foods they have gotten so used to over the years and a lot more perseverance to stick to that determination. Perseverance also means that failure should not mean that it is time to give up. In fact, perseverance means to try once again each time failure stares us in the face. With a bit of perseverance an overweight person will soon begin to eat only the healthy foods and will not even give junk food a thought. It is only with the practice of perseverance that the weight loss process actually begins to take effect.

Believing In Yourself: Believing in yourself means never putting yourself down. Most overweight people are known to fall into self pity and pull themselves down when they are alone or in company. It is very easy for them to get disheartened and blame themselves for all the wrong reasons. It is best to raise your self esteem and concentrate on the positive points of your character and forget the negatives.
